There is something for everyone and the portions are large enough to split. My wife and I always get the California Club and the Rhuben. You won't go away hungary.

Arcata Pizza and Deli on the Arcata Plaza has a great variety of pizza, sandwiches, salads, homemade soup and more. Arcata Pizza & Deli is a great place to gather after work, before the game, whenever you want a great sandwich or pizza. There menu also has a large assortment of vegetarian items.

Arcata Pizza and Deli is located just a few blocks from the plaza and not far from every single bar in town. They have late hours and the food is great. The portion sizes are very large. The locals refer to Arcata Pizza and Deli as "APandD". Don't get it confused with APD which is the Arcata Police Department. The Cheese fries are wonderful as well as the pizza slice of the day (which is very large.) They used to be cheap, but recent price increases have made me visit much less often.
